  • Jan 30 - February 9 tour in Sweden with Dan Barrett.


  • The Swedish Jazz Kings (SJK) on tour January in Holland with pianist Martin Litton also playing with the band Feb 8 at 100 Club in London at the opening of Swedish Jazz Extravaganza, a week of Swedish jazz in London.

    Late February tour in Norway with Keith Nichols, in May tour in Holland again with Joep Peeters and Roy Williams.

    At the Breacon Jazz Festival in Wales on Aug 14 & 15 with Keith Nichols.

    At Picchus Café in Upplands Väsby Nov 12.

  • A concert with Tom Pletcher , Roy Williams, Keith Nichols and Frans Sjöström called "The Music Of Louis And Bix" at Konserthuset, Stockholm May 18 backed by Swedish Jazz Kings and the Classic Jazzband .

    I've produced a record with Classic Jazzband and Tom Pletcher for Stomp Off Records in the week before. On these sessions Frans Sjöström and Ulf Johansson also participated.

    Ulf also played in a CJB recording session with Tom Baker on June 16.

  • Another recording reviving Louis Armstrong's Hot Five's for Stomp Off Records in Hartford (CT-USA) with Pam Pameijer's Jazz Wizards including Matthias Seuffert took place end of April.

    A tour from Frankfurt via Breda to Hamburg Oct 2-5 with his new band including Frans Sjöström bsx, Martin Wheatly ban g and Keith Nichols.

  • Harlem Jazz Camels played May 17 at Nalen for a Swedish Ellington Society celebration concert. Other performances in Stockholm: Aug 26 - Blidösund, Sep 8 - Jesse's Jazzclub (Mariahissen), Sep 10 & 11 - Scandic Crown, Sep 16 - Stampen

    Oct 8-9 the band went to Storyville Jazzclub in Helsinki.

  • Kustbandet was part of an Ellington 100 concert at Konserthuset September 24.

 

  • With Frans Sjöström I've been arranging and recording music for a swedish film, Hundhotellet (The Dog Hotel) in Malmö Oct 23-25.

 

  • Jazzin' Topzies played Nov 14 at Stampen, Stockholm, celebrating the closing of Storyville.
    This was also the first performance by the Hot Jazz Trio.

    Frans Sjöström (bsx), Jacob Ullberger (ban,g) and me also recieved an Armstrong Prize that day, which gave us the idea of forming a band.

    JT also played Dec 1st at Mariahissen i.e. Jesse's Jazzclub.
